Every person carries their own unique story. Mine had some unexpected twists and turns along the way. Through it all, Dr. Boz remained by my side and was incredibly attentive to detail. He was kind, professional and went above and beyond to ensure my health was on the right track. I’m 6 weeks post-op from removal of stage IV endometriosis and a hysterectomy and I’m feeling great. Aside from Dr. Boz’s specialized surgical skills, he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. I’d highly recommend Dr. Boz to anyone. My husband and I will be forever grateful for choosing Dr. Boz as my doctor. Thank you, Dr. Boz!

Where do I began to tell you how life changing my experience with Dr. Boz has been! I am 5 days post op and feeling almost 100% back to myself. I was diagnosed with having multiple fibroids 7 years ago. I had many of them all over my uterus. I found out about them after suffering 2 miscarriages 7 years ago with my then fiancé. From this point forward, my gynecologist was monitoring them year after year to document any changes in size, etc. at this point I was suggested to get opinions from fibroid specialists and I had scheduled surgery on Oct of 2020. I had very little knowledge of what a myomectomy was and after scheduling this surgery, I decided to cancel it a few days prior after hearing some horror stories from other women who had undergone the procedure. One of them was a close friend of mine who ended up with a hysterectomy after a botched myomectomy. I was terrified at this point and put off the surgery. The surgeon I had the original myomectomy scheduled with suggested I get other opinions to ease my mind and make an informed decision. I was also not in a crucial position so he didn’t feel I needed to have the surgery right away. I also didn’t realize that the surgery I had scheduled in 2020 was not robotic/laproscopic and would have most likely left my uterus butchered from the amount of scar tissue I would have. Fast forward to Oct 2021, I start experiencing back pain. I thought I had kidney stones but a ct scan confirmed I had a fibroid blocking my urethra and causing kidney inflammation. An mri uncovered several large fibroids pressing against major organs. My liver, and kidneys were being squished and my bowel was also restricted. Every doctor I met from this point on suggested a hysterectomy. My gynecologist said I would be crazy to consider a myomectomy because of the size and amount of fibroids I had. I would have to be cut everywhere to get them all out and would be left with so much scar tissue that I wouldn't even be able to carry a pregnancy even if the surgery were successful. It was terrifying to hear what my prognosis would be and everyone I met with kept pushing towards an open surgery vs robotic laproscopic which would have left me butchered and in recovery for months. I’m a 40 yr old woman who at this point has no children, and no partner. I was not ready to make such a life changing decision of never having children. I also didn’t save any eggs, so I was in a pretty awful position with these large fibroids covering almost my entire uterus. I scoured the internet for answers and Dr. Boz came highly recommended. Then after reading his reviews, I finally felt some hope. Every surgeon made me feel that even if they performed the myomectomy “successfully”, I would undoubtedly have some post op issues. Issues like incontinence or leaky stools. This was a reality I was not going to accept. Dr. Boz assured me that his unique techniques that he has developed over the years would no only preserve my uterus but avoid the common mistakes other surgeons make in surgery because of the close proximity to these other organs. That was all I needed to hear to feel confident in his skills and 5 days post op, I no longer have the frequent urination issue and non of the other issues every other surgeon said I would experience. Thank you Dr. Boz and Lenox Hill for your expertise!

It has been a very tough and long journey dealing with two auto immune illnesses; one of them being endometriosis. I had about ten years suffering from pain, discomfort, painful periods, periods that would come twice a month and last seven days each time, going to different types of doctors to receive a diagnosis and treatment and was put under a lot of medication that made me gain an excessive amount of weight, was told that my pain was mental and all my symptoms were just a physical manifestation of this “mental” issue. I thought I was finally on the road to becoming better when I met with a surgeon in April 2022 who said that they will do the surgery in May, remove all the endometriosis and insert an IUD as a treatment and preventative for the endometriosis. Due to that laparoscopic surgery in May 2022, the pain got worse, i had eight infections (yeast, UTI, bv), one of the infections landed me in the ER because it traveled to my kidneys, had an ultrasound that showed the IUD was misplaced and no one wanted to help. I finally met with Dr. Bozdogan in January 2023 and had my surgery a few weeks later. Dr. Boz is sincerely a miracle worker. Two weeks after my robotic surgery, I can confidently say I have no pain, it feels great to not be at a pain level of 8 every day, I don’t need to take pain medication, and he gave me the wonderful news that he left my insides so clean and healthy, I can actually conceive if I wanted to and after hearing for so many years that being a mom may not be a possibility for me; this is a a true game changer. I HIGHLY recommend

I went to see Dr. Boz for several issues i was experiencing. He was very patient with me & thoroughly explained what i had and how he would treat it. On the day of surgery I was very nervous, but Dr. Boz put my mind at ease. He took the time to call me several times after my surgery to make sure that I was OK. I would highly recommend Dr. Boz to anyone suffering from endometriosis. Thank you!

Dr. Boz has been my Dr for over 10 years. He has cured my endometriosis. He has great bedside manner and knows what he's doing. His wait time isn't long like most offices and he gets the job done. He completes the ultrasounds himself as opposed to clinics where a tech doesn't have the skilled eye to detect an abnormality. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Boz saved me! I had been suffering w heavy, bimonthly periods so I went to his office to see him and we scheduled a hysterectomy. Unbeknownst to the both of us, when he went in he found stage 4 endometriosis as well as bladder adhesions and scar tissue from a previous surgery, all of which he took care of. A one and a half hour surgery turned out to be over 4 hours! He called my husband on his personal cell phone, explained what had happened and put me on the phone to put my husband at ease. After my overnight stay, he followed up w 3 phone calls post op, one being a FaceTime call so he could see that all was ok. Myself as well as my family was dumbfounded that the surgeon himself called to check on me and personally cared about my well being. I’m feeling better and better every day and am truly grateful to have made an appointment with him. I thank God for Dr. Boz and his expertise!

After suffering for years with endometriosis/fibroids, endless visits with various GYN doctors, and multiple tests with no straight answer, I was blessed to find Dr.Boz. I was able to get an appointment right away in his Manhattan office. After a 45 minute consultation and an ultrasound, Dr.Boz was able to diagnose me and put together a plan of action. Other doctors recommended meds, pain meds, and birth control. Dr.Boz said no medicine would cure me and suggested a partial hysterectomy leaving me with my ovaries to avoid menopause. I am 2 days out of surgery and feel like a new person already. Dr. Boz has called two times to check on my recovery. There are no words to describe the care Dr. Boz and his staff have given me. Thank you for giving me my life back!

I went to see Dr. Boz for a second opinion about my fibroids. I was not happy with my regular gyn not providing any assistance with what to do about my fibroids. So I did some research and found Dr. Boz. Upon meeting him he was very professional and we talked about the options available to me which included non-invasive surgery. He made me feel comfortable when I had my surgery. He called me during my recovery to make sure everything was ok. Great Dr. and I would definitely recommend.

An amazing experience is the least that I can say. Having dealt with Endo for so many years and other doctors wanting to resolve my issue with a bandaid, Dr. Boz did more than the others. He took into account all of my history and concerns, he took the time to listen me and I feel every decision since has lead to the best solution for me. Thank you for everything!

I ignored ALL the signs! Same gynecologist for 15 years! Dreaded every cycle, cld barely make it out of bed. Every cycle it was something horrible to look forward to. Suffering and telling your gynecologist all your symptoms over the years. Committed to a yearly pap. And getting completely dismissed in regards to “abnormal” pain, heavy bleeding, heavy clotting). 7 months ago. One day, before my cycle started. I get the same left side abdominal pain. Same location. Leaving me bed ridden for the first 2 days of my cycle. Can’t eat! Can’t sleep! Complete excruciating pain! Thought it was diverticulosis (previously diagnosed/left sided abdominal pain). Finally go to my gynecologist last month. Throws out the word Endometriosis. Supposedly go hand in hand with Fibromyalgia ( previously diagnosed 2018/severe musculoskeletal pain since 2013). I go home. Google Endometriosis specialist. Top of list, Dr. Boz. His office staff was very pleasant. Dr. Boz examined me and new right away I had endometriosis. He wouldn’t know how sever until he was in the OR. Needless to say, 5 incisions later, that it was stage 4 endo. Invisible chronic illness is exactly that! Invisible. 1 in 10 women suffer from endometriosis. And most don’t know. Periods should NOT leave you unable to daily tasks! Please listen your body. The problem was completely overlooked! By so many. Including myself. ALL THE WHILE... All the while, my entire pelvic region is going through a massive disease in the span of 8+ years and I had no idea. My entire body was shutting down on me. I would cry in excruciating pain and ask God to help me. 2 weeks post op! Made it to the beach with my family. Owned my scars. Swelling is down. Been on my feet for hours at a time, no lower back pain! Dr. Boz truly changed my life! A true caregiver at heart. His energy is awesome. He makes you a priority! He follows up with his patients directly. I’ve 10+ doctors in the last 5 years. With dead end results. I walked into Dr. Boz’s office, they welcomed me with open arms, they went above and beyond and I will be forever thankful!

There are no words to describe the care Dr. Boz and his staff have given me. I am 2 days out of surgery and feel like a new person already. Dr. Boz has called 2 times to check on my recovery, I have never experienced that personal care with any doctor I have had. After 10 years of suffering from pain, multiple trips to the ER with no answers, I found Dr. Boz and was finally diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. I had surgery 2 weeks later and I'm finally on the road to recovery! Thank You for giving me my life back!

I may have had to drive 80 miles north but it was WORTH it for the care I received from Dr.Boz. He is knowledgeable, talented in what he does and has excellent bedside manner. Thank you, Dr.Boz!!!

Advanced Endometriosis Center: fibroid removal by Robotic Myomectomy - I got to know about Dr. Ulas Bozdogen from the google. As it was my first hospital experience I did speak with many people who reviewed and his old patient. Everyone said he is the good at what he does. He was an expert in Fibroids and Endometriosis. I had one 10 cm fibroid in the uterus. It was removed by Dr. Ulas Bozdogen by a minimally invasive surgery using robotics. I was admitted morg and discharged by 3.00pm evening. He explained and made me so comfortable before the surgery. I had very little pain, that too after 3-4 days of surgery. After Surgery I could feel the difference. He is friendly and even spoke to my mom overseas to let her know and comfort her. Doctor is always available in phone for any questions. I totally recommend him if you have any troubles with fibroids. You are in safe hands. Thank you doctor.

I had a fabulous experience with Dr. Bozdogan! I had a robotic assisted myomectomy just yesterday, and I already feel a huge difference in my uterus. My fibroid pain is gone! I'm still healing from my incisions, but the pain is so much less than I was expecting, and I'm sure I'll feel pretty normal in a few days. My "regular" OB-GYN only offered me an "open" surgery with a 6-8 week recovery time. Dr. Bozdogan was able to remove my huge fibroid and save me weeks of pain. I'm so happy I chose this method, and found Dr. Bozdogan!

Dr. Boz is the BEST! I just had the robotic myomectomy procedure at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC and I feel great! The recovery is so much better than the average Myomectomy and I didn’t have to stay in the hospital! So many women are unaware of this type of procedure and Dr. Boz is compassionate, caring and highly skilled! I would definitely recommend!

I honestly dont even know where to start. I have been suffering from stage IV endometriosis for the last 5 years. The pain I have dealt with on a daily basis was truly unbearable! The pain in the last 2 years had become so bad I was calling out of work at least twice a month. It's hard because if you dont suffer from this disease you have no idea the affect it has on your quality of life. I was always planning outings with friends/family for the one week out of the month I actually felt ok. It was not only physically draining but mentally. I was told by other Drs that I basically would just have to live with the pain. One dr told me I could try pain management which would include possible needles in my back, pain meds, etc. I was just not willing to accept this. About a month ago I surfed the web for Endometriosis specialist and Dr Boz profile came up. I sat and read all the wonderful reviews women had wrote and I was hopeful for the first time in years. So I called and made an appointment. Meeting with Dr Boz was everything I could of hoped for. He is so knowledgeable about this disease. I was amazed at all he knew just by doing an ultrasound. Two weeks later I was scheduled for lyproscpic surgery. It's been 3 days since the surgery and I feel great! One of the most painful symptoms I had was SEVERE lower back pain. I mean there were days I couldn't get out of bed. My bowels were actually pulling on two nerves near my lower back which was causing so much pain. The moment I woke up from surgery my back pain was gone!! I still can't believe it. I cant thank Dr Boz enough. He truly cares about his patients. He listens! Which in my experience with Drs has not always been the case. If your suffering from endometriosis pain Dr Boz is who you want to see. It's been three days since surgery and I feel great. Still sore (which is to be expected). Thank you to Dr Boz and his amazing staff! You truly gave me my life back!!

I came into this search for a surgeon knowing that I had a very complex situation. Upon doing a google search, I bumped into reviews for Dr. Ulas Bozdogan (Dr. Boz). I thought that it was too good to be true, so I needed to check for myself. My husband and I consulted with Dr. Boz in August. We had never before met an OB-GYN who is so knowledgeable, yet so humble and he immediately put us at ease. We feel that he handled my situation as if I was a member of his family. His staff is courteous and professional, and always gets back to you whenever it is necessary to do so. Surgery was done laparoscopically, and all problems have been addressed and resolved. It has been less than a week since surgery, and I feel like a million dollars. Dr. Boz is truly exceptional, and a pioneer in the field of laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Bozdagan is not only an excellent doctor, but he listens carefully and truly cares about his patients. I had been searching for a doctor to help me with endometriosis- after a full hysterectomy was already done. Dr. Bozdagan performed robotic exploratory surgery and removed painful adhesions and endometriosis still remaining. Dr. Boz actually spoke to me during my first phone call to his office! I highly recommend this brilliant and caring professional.
